Established in 1959 the company has now been trading for 50 years and operates mainly within a 50-mile radius of its headquarters in Warsash, Southampton. The company carries out a wide range of projects including complete new build, extension, conversion and refurbishment works for a diverse portfolio of clients spanning all sectors – from private, housing associations and local authorities to developments in the healthcare, education, leisure, heritage, industrial and commercial fields.
Current clients include Portsmouth Housing Association, A2 Winchester Ltd, Hermitage Housing Association and HVHS Housing Group. In recent years projects have also been completed for Kingfisher Housing Association, Petersfield Housing Association, Downland Housing, Hampshire County Council and the National Trust.
Preferring to carry out a wide range of projects rather than concentrating on just one sector, the company generally undertakes developments ranging in value from around £100,000 up to £2.5M.
Most of the works undertaken by F.E.Chase are repeat business won through recommendation. The company puts a large percentage of its success down to adopting a ‘hands on’ approach with the company directors remaining actively involved in contract management themselves, as well as taking pride in completing good quality work on time and within budget.
